Founder & Executive Director
Genevieve Tran
Founder, Executive Director & Lowell Chapter Lead
Born and raised in San Francisco, Genevieve is a proud first-generation Filipino, Chinese, and Vietnamese American. Coming from a low-income immigrant household, she witnessed firsthand the strength and resilience of the women in her life—especially her mother, who persevered through adversity with unwavering determination. These experiences deeply shaped Genevieve’s values and ignited her lifelong dedication to advocacy.
Growing up in a male-dominated sport, she found her voice through writing and used it to uplift and empower women in underrepresented spaces. In 2024, she founded the Women's Youth Writing Association (WYWA) to create a platform for young female voices and to champion equity in creative spaces. As a sophomore, Genevieve is pursuing her studies at Lowell High School. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels or working on one of her many ambitious writing projects, continuing her mission to empower female minorities in underserved communities.
